I'll attach this spreadsheet with all the topics of exams covered from jan 2009 to jan 2012 so you can see the patterns
Lovely thank you so much.. sorry if this sounds like a silly question but what did you mean by access to justice? is that funding?? Also someone told me powers of arrest came up in jan 2012 but i think you put stop and search?

Not done Legal Funding yet. Yeah I would I don't think Police Powers is that hard to remember either Probably, though I think Magistrates is more likely to come up though Jury alternates with Magistrates and Jury was in Januray so hoping for Magistrates!

Yeah same im kinda praying for mags so much easier than juries Also im having trouble with structing the answers so for every question we answer do we need a conclusion and introduction or we just go straight into the answer? I have asked someone this question before but i just want to double check lol x

Law exams are such a lottery! Haha
Just go straight into it, maybe a sentence to state the topic you're doing. E.g "Juries are a fundemental part of the English Legal System, and their role is outlined in the Juries Act 1974"
Not sure about the date of that though, but yeah that's all the introduction you need and for a conclusion you won't get penalised for not writing one

Okay, but I feel so stressed out! What do you do to relax? One of my biggest mistakes is stressing out just before an exam.
    Hows your revision going?

Yeah I really don't like the way that is structured! Plus, my law teacher recently told us that we would of been okay doing the January law exam, waah. :'(
And, I think she pretty much covered all of unit 1 of the ELS, remembering it all is a whole other story. How about you?

I'm feeling okay for the SOL exam, I recently got 3 marks off a B for a mock. But I'm still really nervous at the same time. :'(

Did you do AQA? I did OCR. I did barristers and solicitors, sentancing, police powers, and the bail act.
I thought it was a decent paper, and I'm hoping sources is to!
    How did you find it?

I did this paper in January and got a B and was 1 mark of an A! I was really gutted cause I worked really hard for this exam, but i did the legal system paper yesterday and because that is worth 60% of the overall AS grade, i decided not to resit it! But i would think DL might come up for the summer paper,so good luck guys

No the source is there for a reason as it has something in there that it wants you to refer to in either of the questions as it will state "With reference to the source and you should take a highlighter and quote what line you found it i.e. the definition of the purposive approach as stated in source A lines 3-4 is bla bla! Never copy out the source as the highest you can get is a high D low C and I didn't answer legal profession cause i absolutely detest that question/topic :P
