Hate everything about how I look?
Might sound stupid to some and i should get over it but i really hate the way i look, every single thing about my appearance i would change, my chin/jaw line, my teeth, my nose, my eyes/eye brows, hair/hairline (receeding, already!!), my ears, my weight (far too skinny), facial hair, hands... honestly every single part of my body i would change. (obviously others dont seem to like my appearance, never had a girlfriend).
Does anyone else feel like this, how do you get through it? I could really use some advice. -
Re: Hate everything about how I look?Never having had a girlfriend has NOTHING to do with appearance. The question isn't how attractive are you, but how often have you actually asked people out? Girls don't tend to make the first move (in most cases) due to social stigma. If you have issues with how you look, a self-confidence issue, I doubt you even feel confident about asking other people to go out with you!(Original post by DZJX)

Your issues lie in that you put so much attention into your flaws that they then balloon in your eyes. Not to put to much into it, but people don't look at each other in that much detail.
When dressing don't dress to hide your flaws, but to show off your pro's. Even then, most of the flaws you listed are easily groomed into a style you like. Receding hairline is quite easily hidden with a fringe. Eyebrows can be shaped a little (I'm a guy and I admit I stop mine from becoming the very hungry caterpillar.) Facial hair can be shaped or shaved.
Things like hand and cheek bones you can't change, and this is where I say find a style that can fit you a little better. Personally I've got the cheekbones of a satsuma, no matter what weight (skinny to up). To counter that I let my sideburns grow a little further down than normal to add 'edges' to the face.
Hands are more tools for your body than accessories. Don't worry about them. Let them dangle in style, stop them chapping, etc.
You use hairstyles to your ears advantage. More fluffed for larger ears.
Teeth? Apart from using whitening toothpaste there isn't much that needs doing. If they aren't straight you can get braces, but oral hygiene really is key. Brush.
Noses are just part of your face. Accept the fact.
I know with eating disorders if a person has so many self-confidence issues to do with appearance they tell them to simply only have 2 mirrors in the house. 1 Face in the bathroom, 1 full body in the hall.
As I said, try not to obsess. Personally I hate how I look but I realise that the body is a completely personal thing. It's very difficult with things that we can't change, but we simply have to accept the hand we've been given and do the best with it.
Use style to bluff a royal flush when you actually have a 2, 5, 9, 3 and a queen at the end and you could win but don't forget, those are only the cards and not the player.
