Probably, true say but there are some structured answers and some examiners
are harsher if E.G my answer highlights the correct answer but i waffle on extra he/she might award me 0.5mark. So its still a possibility.

I know i will definitly send my speaking, writing for remarks and i know both examiners that mark them are harsh and majoritiy of the cases it drops couple marks below your teachers mark.

Anyway i g2g school now time for ym exam !@@@

Only less than 2 hours til the exam
Good luck! and yeah i think I will send my writing and speaking for remarks if it is really below what i expected.

no one has got an a* in their writing- you cannot say that since it has not even been marked by edexcel

right on, last year the grade boundaries changed so much for languages it ended up being 28/30 for an A*
many peoples went down, and some went up fortunately I went up by 2 marks, but just warning all not to be too hopeful as it changes alot with languages

My teacher only put 4 out of 20 of us in higher... That was quite worrying, but then again the last question is always hard. Last year being about saturday school and stuff like that, none of it is expected!!
There's 20 in your class... only six of us in ours lol

Not yet. The examinations took place in the afternoon, you need to wait till around 4am to be able to speak about it. You can look at the rules to find out more.

those of u who did the aqa one, we can discuss it "Exams from the examination boards AQA, OCR, CCEA and WJEC (other than orals) are fine to talk about straight after the exams because these boards are UK based only.
    Applied ICT exams: No discussio"

How did you find the Edexcel Reading Higher tier paper today ?

I sat the exam 9:00-9:50 Am I found the exam to be Quite easy however its terms of difficulty I found it harder than all of the past papers that I have done both 1) All of Edexcel Higher tier Reading paper + 2) All Full revision CGP Purple Book Guide.

I believe I never achieved my goal on the reading paper of 40/40 UMS but my past papers showed I was worthy of an 29-37.5/40 UMS. The exam was to a degree relativity easy all questions full mark except the question about the "Handicap-Disability Dog" question which is questionable on how many marks I got as the mark scheme has a "Accept" and "Reject" section on awarding marks on structured questions as they are not straight forward and you could get a wide range of answers(Interpretations). Luckily after the exam I went through the paper with my teacher and To my astonishment just Scraped 32.5/40 Ums worst case scenario Minimum 32.5/40 expecting 33-34/40 however would be my dream of 40/40 which is impossible DAMN You "Handicap-Disability Dog" Question.

    A*=32/40. A=28/40. B=23/40 ish.

Well good luck just cant wait for the results paper, 1 less subject to worry about on results day =))

    Yayyy this thread opened again.

But yeah guys, give it till midnight as the reason why this got closed last time was because people were talking about certain papers earlier than they should have.

But for most, I think French is over so congratulations guys, and I'm sure you've all done great. Again a massive thank you to all the advice and resources you all suggested, it has been really, really appreciated by me and I'm sure many others.
