I do about 20-30 minutes after school. On weekends I do about 1-2 hours. During my exams, I'll do 2 hours/day.

    Why was I negged?

I revise from around 5.45 - 9.30/10! I do nothing else of weekdays, I may as well.
I manage to cover a lot more work at the weekends however..

People who do 5+ anyday except last week...I hope you realize this isn't brain surgery and ease off a little so your mind can relax.

Two hours a night at the moment. My aim is to work hard during the week and have my weekends free without any revision, so I can go out. Like today, I have read the rest of my book for literature which was about thirty pages, spent about fifteen minutes going over the topics for RE and just did a French reading mock. I'm prioritizing subjects seen as my science exams aren't until the end of June while my French are less than a month away.

Also, I've got about six free lessons a week so I make sure I get a bit of revision done in them.

Please tell me the people who selected 5+hours are trolls!!!

If I were to start working as soon as I got home non stop for 4 hours I wouldn't finish until 9 pm.

Btw well done to those clever people who calculated that I get home at 4 pm!!!
Why do you think people who revise 5 hours after school are trolls? I revise 24 hours on the weekends and do about 15 hours of revision in a week. This is how you get top grades, sir

Is that really worth it? I'd rather be happy and do quite a bit of revision, than just totally overkill it and have no life.

I have work after school and then I come home too tired to do any proper revision so I don't really know what to do.

I've seen a lot of people get top grades with far less revision than that so it seems fairly pointless.

Re: How much are you revising a night (after school)?
I do roughly an hour a night plus homework that my teachers set me, which are things like past papers and practice essays, so counts as revision.. sooo roughly 2 hours a night on weekdays?

At weekends, I have a job on Sundays, but on Saturdays I do a few hours depending on how motivated I'm feeling and whether I'm going out with friends or family

Once I'm on study leave I'll do 4-6 hours per day though

At the moment,I'm focusing solely on the French Speaking exam and am revising 30-1 hours a night and after I have done the exam I will probably be focusing on 6 of my 7 exams, which means a lot more revision-for the other exam there is no point because its easy maths .

Re: How much are you revising a night (after school)?
I like to crack on with proper revision in my frees at school, or if I don't have many frees I stay after school. If I've done 4 hours that day I don't tend to do much more when I come home, but if I've done about 2-3 hours/haven't finished notes on a topic I'll do another hour or so at home too until I've done about 4 then at weekends it's perhaps a little bit more

Edit: OH this is for GCSE haha sorry I'm doing A2s, IGNORE THIS I did no way near that much for GCSE don't panic hahaha. Maybe 2 hours a night after school including past papers and stuff good luck everybody

That's about how much time I spend doing revision! Though I'm going to buckle down now, and do some hardcore revision!
