what to do if you havnt been accepted to a sixthform?
well, i hope someone will read this post and give an answer but ...
what to do if you hav'nt been accepted into a sixthform?
im in year 11 ive applied to my OWN school sixthform and had an interview in february and on my application it said i had 4 A-C's when in my report i actually had 6 out of 9 subjects (my Head of year didnt fill in all the grades for each of my subject in the application form) and i couldnt bring proof to the interviewer that i actually had 6 A-Cs as i was just told on the day by my tutor teacher that i have an interview with the schools sixthform ,
so the women who interviewed me was really nice and she said if i got the min requirments 5 A-Cs she'll accept (i didnt tell her i actually had 6 A-Cs as i was a bit blank to what happend to my grades on the application form) so i told her the subjects im interested in , and she said that she'll put me in as 'considering' not 'definite' like many of my other friends in school have got , and shell send me a confirmation letter in april.
My friends said its nothing to worry about , theyll definitly accept you into the sixthform unless if youre a bad asset to the school or have really bad grades.
but maybe i am being a bit paranoid ?
however i have also applied for a different sixthform and they send they can not accept me now as they have already accepted the maximum students for the school however in august i can fax them my gcse results and they'll see.
but anyway im just hugely keen on going to my schools sixthform , and what to do if i havnt been accepted ? should i still try and apply on enrolment day ? what to do ? thankssss ... hope someone can give me advice

If you meet their requirements your own school will take you
