I did the same thing and said about vicarious learning and making execution of skill easier...people from my college were saying you only had to name two more because cognitive dissonance was one of the three, I didn't think that was what the question was asking though :s(Original post by CiaraCampbell)
I was slightly confused on the cognitive dissonance theory. I know what cognitive dissonance is, but then the next half of the question said something like name three ways to change attitudes, and I always thought the two ways were cognitive dissonance theory and persuasive communication theory, so i said persuasive communication then made up two other ways to change negative attitudes and put something like vicarious learning and point out how someone similar does things well, and make the task easier to improve their confidence? haha massive fail, woops. The rest of psychology was perf tho! Couldn't have asked for a better section apart from that tiny bit! -

Re: A2 OCR PE G453 - 20th June 2012I did biomechanics...didn't really think the 20 marker was that nice :/ but it made up for it with the rest I thought! What do you mean about it being too brief?(Original post by ZyzzBrah1)
Anybody else do the Biomechanics section? and then realised that the 20 marker wasn't explained well enough at all, far to brief. Had to make an assumption, on player B, quite poor, exam boards need to stop making so many mistakes on exam papers -

I felt the psychology questions were extremely vague except for Lnaf one...totally blabbed on the 20 marker, history was by far the superior section.
probably aren't even related...

Re: A2 OCR PE G453 - 20th June 2012Compared to some of the past papers that one was a lot easier.... I wouldn't get your hopes up about a lower grade boundry. However I am basing that on nothing else but my opioning so you know never know.(Original post by amyrew)

Re: A2 OCR PE G453 - 20th June 2012Overall I wasn't pleased with the paper but could of been a lot worse. I liked the physliology questions they were nice, but comparative and phycology was aere a mixed bag. I hope the grade boundaries are low, ah. But if anyone did lit in the morning I did like that. Was some good Frankenstein questions. Good luck to those doing biology and maths x

Re: A2 OCR PE G453 - 20th June 2012Predicted an A*, rushed the last bit of comparative and ended up comparing UK with USA instead of UK and Australia, such an idiot. Hope I'm still able to get an A or B, my scores were really high last year (189/200) got 40/40 on my sport and high in my EPIP, think it'll be ok??

Re: A2 OCR PE G453 - 20th June 2012You know the bit where it said player B returns the ball into the net? it didn't say what type of shot he played for example he could have smashed it which means that the acceleration on your time graph would have been different to something like if Player B played a slice drop shot.(Original post by Em_15)
