PGCE Secondary English at Wolverhampton Uni
    Hi...Again,

So, this morning I recieved an interview for a PGCE in secondary English at Wolverhampton Uni.

I have gone through over 10 GTTR applications, one interview at primary PGCE at Wolves, which resulted in being unsuccessful. This was my ideal choice.

However, after going through various rejections, and no other interviews since, this is my second choice.

I don't have a degree in English, I'm in my third year doing drama there. I do however, have an A* in GCSE English.

I don't have any experience in secondary schools really, only in drama...so I don't think I stand a chance?

Any advice? Anyone going for this interview too?

    Kat. :angelwings:

You have an interview for an English PGCE without an English degree? Thats very unusual.
    Good luck anyway
Make sure to draw upon your experience in your interview!

    Hi,

Have you had your interview? Hope it went well for you!

I have one for English at Uni of Wolves next week - do you have any tips/advice on what to expect or what I can prepare for? As the Uni didn't really provide much advice for preparation

    Many thanks

    Jasmine
