Best: Smoked haddock/cobbler. Smoked fish is a delight, I would rarely pick up regular white fish now, if there is a smoked offering. Yes, it STINKS, but it stinks in a good way. Like garlic, tuna, cheese and onion sandwiches..it's bad for others around but for those eating it, the smell is so worth it.

Bad: Smoked bacon. Yo dawg heard you like salt so I added some salt to your already salted meat, so you can eat salt with your salt. It's too much. Unsmoked bacon all the way, it actually tastes a bit like BACON that way.

ALPHABAD: Coconut Milk. So disappointed and horrified when I tasted this. I figured it'd taste like the coconut ice stuff or the stuff you get in cartons. It doesnt, just to warn you before you take a huge slurp expecting tasty goodness. I speak from experience

ALPHABEST: Cookies! Because Millie is a hero, bringing us soft baked loveliness to our empty unfulfilled stomachs. Mmm... Cookies. They're just good, be it home made, shop bought or Millie made.

BEST AND BAD OF: PA

Alphabad: Paynes Poppets. They used to be so guuuurd. So why is it they now taste like balls of hideous wax?

Alphabest: Paprika Crisps. Paprika is more a flavour enhancer than its own standalone flavour, so why is it the combo of pap, fat and tat(ties) makes one of the moat addictive crisps evarrrr?

Best: Truffles. Not the silly expensive pig-hunted kind. The chocolate ones. You know, mr Lindor ball. My best friends. Melt in the mouth.

Bad: This is controversial, but trifle. I'd probably be swayed if I had a good one. But i've had TOO many bad ones, of cheap shop bought variety. Wet sponge, jelly with fruit bits in it which I hate, and fake custard and cream that tastes of nothing.

ALPHABEST: Cranberry Wheats. The cereal you can buy, I hate cranberry juice, but I find these are YUM. Especially if you leave em to go just a bit soggy, but thats just one of those guilty pleasures of mine

ALPHABAD: Croissants, plain. Because other pastries you can just EAT, heating them up or adding things may improve them, but its not a necessity. But with these, you kinda have to, or its epic dry mouth for you! Alphabad of the pastry breakfast world, but not the greatest food sinner.

ALPHABEST AND BAD OF: An

Best: Angus beef burgers. Okay I don't know if angus tastes different from other beef but they're beef burgers and thus gonna be yum.

Worst: Angel delight. Tacky junk. Gunge?

best: cookies. Because I'm yet to try a cookie I haven't enjoyed to some degree. Be it that some are better than others, ultimately, THEY'RE ALL good. I like those tall cookies, I like those short cookies, I like those big cookies, I like those little cookies, I like those iddy bitta weight cookies. I like all the cookies, I like all the cookies.

bad: cornflour. Too many people use it when making gravies etc and it ends up KILLING it. It's a thickener that should be used sparingly, and it has no other redeeming qualities. I could live without it, quite frankly.

ALPHABEST: Fairy Cakes, purley for the childhood nostalgia of days spent making Dennis the Mennis, Little Miss and Tom and Jerry Cakes. Rice paper pictures FTW.

ALPHABAD: Fagioli all'olio. They just LOOK so unappetizing. The Ugly Duckling of the bean world.

ALPHABAD: PIMMS.
I like loads of alcohol variations, licquor to pop. But Pimm's tastes like pain and suffering. "The Uk's summer drink" is ad great as"The Uk's summer."

ALPHABEST: PITTED OLIVES.
I can eat troughs of pitted olives, or olives stuffed with 'chovies or feta. And let me tell you- no amount of dainty cocktail sticks strewn around them are going to stop me shovelling the green and black orbs of salty numnum.

Best: baked potatoes. Because I love the smell through the house, you can do so much with them, they're relatively cheap but filling and substantial. And it's always an option for lunch/tea if you're short on ideas.

Bad: babybels. They taste awful, crime to cheese. Only good thing is the packaging.

ALPHABEST: Planet Pizza Takeaway. Not sure if many people know this place, but its near me, and they do the BEST takeaway pizza - Seafood: anchovies, prawns, tuna, peppers, onions etc - thin pan. Without the added grease feast that is Dominos/Pizza Hut takeaway.

ALPHABAD: Planets, Mars. Not because they're not nice, I actually quite like them, but just because I find them odd. Eaten apart, each one is good, you get a nice flavour and different crunchy/chewy-ability depending on which you get. But mix them like they suggest, and its just...odd. I find they all sorta neutralise into one flavour and consistency. Sad but true.

ALPHABEST AND BAD OF: GR

BEST: Green peas. One of my favourite vegetables, not only easy to prepare but also very tasty.

WORST: Gravy on chips. YES on roast dinners, but why would you want it on chips...

I'll just take the K and do that.

BEST: Kit Kats. From dark chocolate to the white chocolate chunky, to orange, to 4 fingers. I'd never kick a kitkat out of bed! Their is something about their wafer/chocolate/creme(sometimes) combination that is just magic. They are a classic choice too. And feel British. Yeah, I like Kitkats. Kitkats taste like..home.

BAD: Kidney. From the smell, to the taste, to the texture. NO TA.

Best: Yoghurt. OMG I freakin love yoghurt.

Worst: Yazoo. It's sweet and sickly and never ends and doesn't really taste of anything. Bleuughhhghghhghh.

Best: Crumbles. Be it apple, cherry, rhubarb. It's hard to go wrong with a crumble.
Bad: Crab shredded in cans. It's a crime to crabs everywhere. It's also hard to incorporate into a meal without completing losing it, it just doesn't hold it's texture. You can only really eat it cold or plainly. The fact PROPER crab meat is SO much better makes it all the worse.
