BEST: FRENCH TOAST. glorious, glorious food. The cure for all hangovers. Egg, and bread, and oil..and fried. Need I say more? I dunno why it's "French toast" - with my english loaf of bread, english eggs, english CHEF, Im'a go ahead and call it English Toast. Melissa toast.

BAD: FRUIT SALAD as a dessert. I'll have it as a snack, even then, it's a bit "meh" unless it has cream or something. But if I'm craving a sweet, I want chocolate, cake, pastry..not FRUIT SALAD.

BEST: Garlic pizza bread. It's like a yummy little pizza.

WORST: Garlic bread. It's too dry and the obssesion of serving it with pizza is baffling. Most pizza meal deals are let down by the inclusion of it. I'd rather 4 onion rings than 4 garlic bread peices.

BEST: I couldn't think of much so..MAN, of the gingerbread variety Yummy bakery options, often wrongly overlooked in my eyes. I don't even like ginger, but I love gingerbread. It's spicy flavour, the soft, warm texture, thick enough to be comforting, thin enough to give that delicious snap.

BAD: Mange tout. What is this vegetable, what is your life? Are you a green bean, a broad bean, a pea, no? You're slippery and slidey. Your only real use to me is stir fried. Go home.

BEST: Button mushrooms. Oh I LOVE mushrooms. Best part of a fry up. I'd even eat button mushrooms raw. Protein and low calories? WINNING. Plus a lot of vegetarians would be like, well hungry, without mushrooms.

BAD: Bulgar wheat. One of those fancy dancy premium price posh "alternatives" to rice. No. You're not even nice. I don't care how snobby you brand yourself, the texture is just unappealing, there's not a lot to it.

ALPHABEST: Easter eggs! Because lets face it, we'll never be too old for those spherical joys. Plus you get that insane joy of the first 'cracking' of the egg, where you try desperately to keep both halves in check or jut smash the s*** outta that chocolatey egg! Cadbury ones taste so good, as do M&S Easter eggs.

ALPHABAD: Escargot. Though I'll admit I've never tried it, and will at some stage for the sake of my foodie bucket list, for me anything that leaves a trail of slime ain't a grand choice for supper. Nuff sed.

BEST: Curry is too broad so I'm going to not do that. Currants. They are so versatile. Like the chameleon of foods. You can have them in both sweet and savoury dishes or you can have them on their own. Sweetened or unsweetened. They add a moistness to cakes/biscuits. AND THEY'RE FRUIT, SO YOU CAN FEEL GOOD!

BAD: Curried goat. WHY YOU SO TOUGH??? I'm sorry Jamaica, I really am. I just didn't enjoy it. I'd never pick it as a meat. And curry promised so much.

ALPHABEST: Quality street. Because unlike other chocolate boxes, heroes for instance, they don't just TAKE your favourite from you on a whim. There truly is something for everyone in there too, plus it's like a law that you have to have a box of these at Christmas. Two for £10? Oh, go on then

ALPHABAD: Quiche. Especially cold quiche. Why do people insist on serving these at parties?! It's not good! I dont care what flavour you pick, brocolli or like ham and cheese, its not good. Cold eggy cheesy sponge type consistency wrapped it solid hard pastry. Im thinking na. My mum used to give us cold quiche and warm beans as a dinner. Not nice, so so not nice.

Alphabad: jellied eels. I like eels and I like pickled fish (rollmops rule) but this is one step too far.

Alphabest: jersey veal. Veal is such a tough subject but as we've seen from the recent channel 4 programming, it can be super ethical. Jersey beef gets constant praise so no surprise the veal is incredible.

ALPHABEST: I'd say breakfast cereal but I guess that's just a tad vague. Though I bloody love that stuff. So instead I'll say Bruschetta, crispy toasted ciabatta, ripe tomatoes and some basil with a drizzle of olive oil. Um yum?! Plus its easy to make yourself and you can other stuff - like anchovies - if you desire. Good stuff

ALPHABAD: brazil nuts. Ok, not the worst thing in the world, but I just don't get em. They're not that nice to eat plain, even though I don't particularly like nuts as a snack, and they aren't that great mixed into things. Whereas walnuts or pecans are good alone or mixed into things (e.g. Ice cream, cereal, pastries etc), brazil nuts just... Aren't.

ALPHABEST: Granola Traybake from Tescos. I'm in love with these things. Sadly with the amount of calories and sugar, it don't love me back.

ALPHABAD: Gravy. Don't shoot me people - hear me out. I just don't get why you want to make a delicious meal with all these wonderful flavours and then ruin it all by coating it in one bland flavour? It makes everything taste the same. I like to taste different components of my meal, and try different mixes etc, but with gravy it all tastes like gravy. Its like having really REALLY lump soup effectively. But seen as gravy isnt actually a food, I'm not sure if its allowed, so I'll go grapefruit instead, just to be safe...It's so bitter.
