    Do I meet grade requirements?
    Hi
I finished my A-levels last year. I didn't want to go to uni at the time to wasn't too focused on my exams. I still managed A* A* B (english, philosophy Pre-U, Maths) I've now changed my mind but the places I want to apply for have AAA requirements?
Are my grades better than the AAA they ask for (considering I want to apply for philosophy) and will I have a good chance of getting in places like LSE, UCL, King's London etc?

Also, would it be worth reciting the Maths or doing another A-Level from scratch? from what I've heard it would just be a waste of time

You can only give it a go. Your grades do more than make up for the typical offer that you speak of, plus you have an A* in the said subject that you wish to do. I suggest that you e-mail these places and check whether they'd consider you. Overall, worth a shot, you are advantaged in having the grades, they're not predicted.

It'll depend on the individual uni's discretion- could try emailing them, or asking at open days?

You haven't met the offer - technically you've missed it. Some unis might accept you but not all will so you'll need to ask them.
