Best Film Soundtrack?

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

In terms of an original score, any one of David Lynch's films, and the masterful Angelo Badalamenti - my personal favourite is Wild At Heart.
In soundtrack terms, American Graffiti or Goodfellas.

    Blade Runner.

I'm tempted to also mention LotR, which is probably more of a musical achievement, but even it can't quite match the mind-bending nature of the Blade Runner score. I challenge anyone to listen to the piece above and not be moved. It's even more incredible when you hear it in the movie, which I also recommend.
