I don't get it. So many people getting A's and A*, since the grade boundaries are so low. Shouldn't like 5%-10% of the people who took the exam get an A*? Btw got an A* :wink:

Also, does anyone happen to have the examiners' report?

I got A* too, was expecting it to be 170/200 for A*, I didn't think it was that hard to be only 158/200 for A* but I'm not complaining :smile: On the good side I'm one of the first in my school to get it this early, first time I took it and got A*, congratulations to everyone else who got what they want

i remember when A* boundary (back in my days) were around 170! :proud:

When I first did it two years ago it was like that, but now it ain't :biggrin:
Glad it has changed, because it has helped me go from an A to A* as well as the revision. :biggrin:

did you use mathswatch?
this software helped me get an A*, it is the best for learning maths,,
Two marks off an A*. Not really bummed, an A was my target. :tongue:

No, I hate hate (x 100) maths watch haha I think it is the voice on the clips just grates on me sometimes, combined with the fact it's on the computer - I couldn't get the hang of my maths either. I did past papers, had a workbook, and read revision guide :smile:

I think it would really depend if you have another chance to do it - if you are taking the new exam in June then maybe not; you have got another chance. But I would definitely ask your maths teacher if the school would pay for one - you never know if it would help :biggrin:
