Re: Manchester vs Liverpool
They're both similar in terms of what the location offers (great nightlife, diversity and variety of students etc.) and they're both pretty big, Russell Group universities.
However, I think Manchester is academically more prestigious overall as they are ranked higher in domestic and international league tables. So, there's my opinion, go for Manchester!

Re: Manchester vs LiverpoolI'm going to put in a (completely unbiased) vote for Manchester - I love it here, but when I visited Liverpool for an open day, I really didn't like it at all (it's quite a personal thing though!)

Re: Manchester vs LiverpoolWhat course? And no, smaller course size is better because it means more attention and support per student.(Original post by em_123)
Hiya,
I am having some trouble deciding whether to put Liverpool or Manchester as my first choice for uni. The number of people on the course is much smaller at Liverpool, is this a bad thing? What do people think of each uni?
Thanks
