    Manchester vs Liverpool
    Hiya,
I am having some trouble deciding whether to put Liverpool or Manchester as my first choice for uni. The number of people on the course is much smaller at Liverpool, is this a bad thing? What do people think of each uni?

    Thanks

They're both similar in terms of what the location offers (great nightlife, diversity and variety of students etc.) and they're both pretty big, Russell Group universities.
However, I think Manchester is academically more prestigious overall as they are ranked higher in domestic and international league tables. So, there's my opinion, go for Manchester!

I'm going to put in a (completely unbiased) vote for Manchester - I love it here, but when I visited Liverpool for an open day, I really didn't like it at all (it's quite a personal thing though!)

What course? And no, smaller course size is better because it means more attention and support per student.

Pretty biased I guess I have lived near Liverpool for my whole life. I just love it here- I think there is ALOT of prejudiced against scousers though which I don't like. Some of the scoursers I know are the nicest people you will meet in your entire life.
