Euro 2012 Problem in the organization
Euro 2012 co-hosts Ukraine admit 'we have a lot of problems' just weeks before kickoff
The country's tournament director Markiyan Lubkivskyi has said that Ukraine have a lot of problems, we are not a well-developed country like Austria or Switzerland, but we will surprise people with Ukrainian hospitality and openness.

I'm pretty sure Poland isn't ready either, although all of the stadiums are complete from what I've heard. The thing that worries me the most is hotel room space for all the fans! Though we do get a day off from school on the 8th of June

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organization
I know that both hosts are not very well prepared, it is almost Michel Platini criticized both countries, and He urged the Poland to replace the four stadiums in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań ...He also leveled criticism at the high costs of accommodation in Ukraine, Hotel prices have risen sharply from day to day from 40 to 500 Euros....

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organization
I live in Wroclaw and the stadium really is world class in my opinion, they did a decent job (apart from it's grey colour). Hotel prices are expected to rise over here too, if haven't already. I'm praying for the tournament not to turn out as a complete disaster in terms of accomodation, hospitality, etc. I'm not really even a football fan, just hoping that we don't embarrass ourselves as a nation. Too much time, money and effort has been put in already; failure is not an option haha.

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organizationThey will be amazingly organised with immense infastructure in place. Two of the richest oil countries on the planet do not compare with two fairly poor European countries(Original post by Jim-Jam)
Can't wait till the Russian and Qatar world cups! LOL.

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organizationYeah, because one of them's so advanced that they still throw bananas at players on a football pitch and they're massively homophobic, the other nobody's ever heard of and it's practically a desert. Brilliance isn't it.(Original post by Mess.)

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organizationSocial actions have no bearing on a goverment or sovreign leader wanting to showcase their country on a world scale which is why the organisation and the infrastructure which is what is being discussed in this thread will be amongst the best ever seen at a sporting competition. Those two things will be far more advanced than this Euros or the Brazil World Cup in 2014 as well.(Original post by Jim-Jam)
Yeah, because one of them's so advanced that they still throw bananas at players on a football pitch and they're massively homophobic, the other nobody's ever heard of and it's practically a desert. Brilliance isn't it.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...land-fans.html I'm hoping the officials will clamp on the racism, because I know it's quite rampant in Eastern Europe.

Re: Euro 2012 Problem in the organizationWell, if people haven't heard of it, then that says more about their ignorance than how a country can deal with staging a major tournament.(Original post by Jim-Jam)
