I'm doing HNC Business through Distance Learning and have to write a formal report on a subject of my choice. With so little guidance I'm having trouble coming up with a subject. Can anyone suggest a business related topical subject? Ideally this would be a report that could also be turned into a presentation.

I'm starting HNC Business at college this September. Maybe something currently in the media? I remember doing an assignment for University last year and couldnt find much on it. had to waffle alot but passed well.
