    Problem finding a guarantor?
I'm currently going through the paperwork for my flat but the issue i'm having is finding a guarantor. My mom has refused to do it and my dad is unlikely to agree to it.
Is there any other person I can get to sign the form?

Anyone willing to do can do. Uncles, grandparents, aunties, older siblings....
If you cannot find one odds are you'll have to pay a few months rent up front.

We've already paid our deposit and the rent is every 3 months or so.
Main problem i'm having is, I can't think of any family members who would be willing to sign it if my Dad doesn't..

In my case, i couldnt find one as my family is from abroad. I ended up paying the last three months rent of the 12 month contract, before I moved in.
I dont think it necessarily has to be family members, although at your age I doubt you have friends who are homeowners.

Nope, that's the problem, and the ones who are wouldn't sign it for me. I wouldn't want to go as far as some people have done and start forging it. I know things can't go wrong because my loan covers the rent and then some, it's just that my father is stubborn.
