I watch it too, but this current season hasn't been as great as the previous ones. Castiel not being as regular as he once was doesn't feel the same though..

Hmm, I appear to be the only person in the thread who actually liked the angels/demons/god arc...

My main gripe with Supernatural since S1, has and always will be how they introduce interesting secondary/recurring characters to then kill them off after about 3 episodes. Really, really annoys me.

    Rufus

This season has been really disappointing. Where I used to download it and watch the day after it aired I now miss a few episodes at a time and watch them in chunks when I have some spare time.
I liked the Angels Demons story

There must be about 4 or 5 of these threads about :rofl2: This season has been awful though, terrible choice with the villains.

It has been. It's huge in the US Sir Paul.
    I'm American

The last straw for me was the Leviathan storyline. And of course when
    Spoiler:
    Show
they killed Castiel, brought him back, and gave him that damn curse so he might as well be dead again

    Castiel

Clearly Meg is going to use him for some nefarious plot to bring back Lucifer or to try and control him herself. I kind of hope that doesn't get roped in to this seasons storyline, call this a write-off, and then have a proper demon storyline next season with Meg as a classic villain.

Guess I'm the only one who liked the Lucifer/Angels/God storyline? =/
Although this season with Leviathan sucks -.-
Nah, I liked that storyline too!

Gotta admit that this season hasn't been so great though. Glad Castiel's back in it

Has anyone watched the latest episode?

I cannot help but to laugh it out loud when the hooker address herself as a fancy lady.

Angels and demons aside, their jokes are humorous!

Yeah I know haha. It's cool how Bobby's a ghost, because now he can do so much more to help Sam and Dean.

I still watch it, but I completely agree that it's gone way downhill since the third season. SPN used to be my favorite show, and now I just tolerate it and watch it because I always have. It used to be about vampires and tricksters and werewolves, but for the past three seasons they've hacked up the same pathetic angels/God/Lucifer storyline

I have a feeling it won't get renewed after this season.
Completely agree. They took the guts out of the show -- the dark world of demons, weird creatures and the unknown element which made episodes genuinely tense and scary. After season 3 there's very little tension and atmosphere of earlier seasons-- the show revealed all cards. Bad idea! It was the only show with humour one second and genuine scares the next. It worked well until they broke the basic formula. The angels arc was so weak. What were they thinking...

I watched several series of this but missed quite a bit then gave up. I might try to get back into it.

Disagree, the first two seasons were about the yellow-eye demon ultimately; with side story line of the fantasy creatures.

Well, different people would have different field of interest too.

The last few episodes have actually been really good in my opinion. Hopefully starting to pick up again after the sub standard first half of the season.

I love Supernatural. Hope Castiel comes back as a more major character though.

There's been some talk that Castiel will return. I want them to, but they've just screwed up his character so badly already. If they do bring him back, here's to hoping he'll be more like the Cas we saw in season four

Well the finale surprised me by being somewhat decent compared to the rest of the season, minus the last couple of episodes which were good.

    Although I still miss Lucifer
