    Do lots of revision, but make sure its focused: no point sitting down for three hours of maths if you only do 2 questions. And in between revision sessions, really think about what you've been learning. Work out what techniques work for you (for me its revision cards and silly rhymes/ mnemonic) and use them. Also, ask your teacher what they think you need to work on, and do practice essays and papers a lot. Know exactly what you're likely to face in the exam, and good luck!

    Devising a regimented revision plan well in advance, and sticking to it. Providing you have complete notes to revise from in the first place.

    Practising speed writing for essay type exams.

    Just revise. Compared to A Level it's piss easy. I did no revision and got a couple A*s a hand full of As and the rest Bs

    Don't stress about it

    Stress = panic.

    Do maybe 2 hours a day revision when you're on study leave.

    Past papers, mark schemes and examiner's reports are the key.
    Good luck!

    Be determined. Don't spend hours slaving away at the xbox (Or equivalent)

    Determination solves all the problems of the world, after all

    Learn the content, do the past papers, memorise mark schemes = a* in sciences.
    Learn the content ==> do past papers ==> examiners reports = a* in history/business/geography
    Read Examiners reports + look at example essays on internet = a* in english lang/lit
    Spend your life correcting tiny mistakes in your E-Portfolio = A* in I.T
    Learn content => past papers = A* in maths/ stats.

    Re: How to get all A*s at GCSE?
    I'm in year ten at the moment and aiming for this! The thing is, I don't want to sound up myself, so I haven't told anyone in real life what I'm hoping to acheive. Although, I guess everyone already knows I'm going to try and acheive the best that I can get, along with most of my friends.

    I decided to make a revision timetable last weekend and I haven't really been able to keep to it. I'm in year ten and only have six exams this year, so we're still getting homework and I'm just getting so stressed by how much homework and revision I have to do. Next week, for instance, I have a mock history test (I'm not taking the real thing till year 11) and I'm gunna need to revise the whole Russia topic, because I've forgotten most of it. Plus, the end of unit maths test is on Friday, and if I do badly again, I'll be moved down to set two. Basically, I'm just so stressed and tired and can't deal with everything, although I know I NEED to revise. Instead, I just moan about it on here. I need to stop.

    I don't even know what this post is about. I just needed to let it out. Sorry.
