BAE Systems craft apprenticeship (welder) interview
Hi everyone, i have got an interview for a craft apprenticeship (welder) for BAE Systems in Barrow in a couple of weeks. i've noticed a few people on here have been through the BAE recruitment process and i am just wondering if anybody is willing to shed some light on their interview experiences.
I have already got a P.E.O level 2 in fabrication & welding and am wondering if this would be ok to use as a project for the interview as its the first year of there apprenticeship program anyway! also how long did your interview last and was there anything/question out of the ordinary that you wasn't prepared for?
Basically if you could break down your interview experience for me i would be very grateful. thanks dave -
Re: BAE Systems craft apprenticeship (welder) interview
Sorry for a late reply!
I had my craft interview on Monday in Glasgow! My interview lasted 45minutes which was longer than the two guys that were the same time as me! Had 2 interviewers, the questions are pre ready! They asked me for a time I worked in a team and what role I played in the team! Also your proudest moment in life, what you know about the company, learn about their current contracts and what they have did in the past! As for the project I did a ratchet spanner that I made in the workshop in my college course, so I think yours is fine! Just relax and you should be fine, its a really informal interview, they're just trying to judge you as a person. You will have done well to pass the tests anyway! Good luck anyway mate! -

Iv just completed the apptitude test online and am awaiting the results was just wondering if any one could help out shedding light on interview tips or suggestions as how to nail the answers when i go back for my next interview. Any help would be much appritiated.
