Hello lovely people advise required .
Hello everyone my uncle wants to join me next year, on the BA in social work degree, however he is concerned because he left his wife, 2 years ago however the wife ended up getting evicted from her accommodation were he had left her with two kids.He left her due to personal problems. Now the wife went to the council hoping to get help, but the council turned her down for making herself homeless. Now she has had to call up social services because she has no were else to go, and now my uncle is worried the fact that his children might be getting involved in social services might actually affect his career in social work so please advise,?

Tell your uncle to man the **** up and sort his own problems out.

I thought housing was handed out on a plate to parents who were unable to provide it for their children themselves.

It shouldn't do, unless he is accused of abusing them or something like that. He will have to tell the uni though, so he isn't put on placement in a team that has contact with him family.
