Re: How do you make friends on here?If I've added/been added, it's normally because I've had a conversation with someone or bumped into them a few times. Or sometimes their profile's set to 'friends only' but the conversation I'm having with them's going in a direction that might send a thread off-topic (or it's on topic, but I feel like we're beginning to take over), so I'll add them so we can use visitor messages.

Re: How do you make friends on here?No. It's the internet. More specifically, this is an online public forum. You do not need to know people in real life. Do whatever the hell you want as long as you stick to the rules.

Re: How do you make friends on here?I suppose, I get quite self-conscious in public situations unfortunately. I mean I've added people on FB from my Uni but when I try to make polite conversations most of them just ignore me for some reason & never chat to me at all(Original post by AP1989)

Re: How do you make friends on here?oh no, I understand that you're trying to be friendly but the reason why I said that is because, perosnally I prefer talking to people face-to-face so that's why I only really use facebook for people I know really well, even then I still feel slightly awkward.(Original post by Multitalented me)

Re: How do you make friends on here?Not naming (user) names or anything, but I have a few people from here on my FB list.I've never met them but we are members of the same societies on TSR and thats how we "met".I'm not at uni but still have a couple of friends from there on FB.
