Wow I'm shocked to hear about the CD player malfunction! At our school we do it all on the computer. We had a special exam user area with the MP3 file from the CD loaded onto it. So it's really easy to go back and hear things again in Windows Media Player.

I thought the exam was quite straight forward, but I didn't like the question with the 5 words/phrases we had to re-write in our own words, as I didn't know what half of them meant to begin with! I also thought the buddhist part of the listening was quite tricky. As for the writing, I did the unemployment question as I had lots of statistics on the topic. I just hope I've done enough to get an A overall, I need it to get into university!
Ohhh that's a good idea glad it went well! Yeh I HATE those excerices with the 5 words which you have to explain, I don't even get what we have to do in english and yeh the words which they chose were the WORST ones in the extract as I didn't have a clue what they meant :/

We use MP3 players. As long as you don't pause and try to rewind, it's fine. And we've used the exact same players for every past paper we've done since AS so we're used to them.
