Announcing a new Grade Analysis Website!

A group of friends and I have been working on a website which will be able to provide U.K. students accurate information on their GCSEs and AS/A levels.

The address is http://www.gradeinfo.co.uk

This website will be able to tell you exactly how good your GCSEs and AS/A Levels are. The website has been created using accurate statistical models derived from the DFES. It is also significantly more accurate than the ‘GCSE Performance’ tool – which lost its accuracy at the very high grades i.e. a large proportion of the students here.

You may be surprised by how high your results actually rate you!

For example, achieving 5As and 5Bs at GCSE rates you into the top 5.5% of the population and this effectively means that you are better than around 614,000 students.

So, we invite you to enter your grades and find out just how good you really are. Please do spread the word to anyone who you think may be interested.

The website is 100% free and only has text ads for the compensation of server costs.

Looks good, but still seems to lose accuracy with high grades - it says that 1 in 142 people get 10A*s, but only one student at my school has even got that, and it's a grammar school.

Edit
And with 6 As at A Level, it says you're the top student in the country - but I know plenty of people with that many or more.

5 at mine and we're a grammar school too! The GCSE one is fine.

I think the AS Level (not A2) maybe be unrealistic at 6As yea. This is without GS by the way.

Good stuff, only suggestion would be to include some form of representation for AEA examinations which are, as I know, worth 40UCAS points (ie Grade C AS Level)
