    Logs HELP!!
    Hi, im stuck on a logarithms question, - 3^(x-1) = 8^ (x+1)

    my working so far => x-1/x-2 = log10(3)/log10(8)

    ==> ( i dont know how to divide x-1 from x-2) or do you even do that? = 0.53

    Thanx

    you should have
