A question on positivists is asking whether the study of sociology can/should be scientific.
You argue about how they basically apply methods of natural science to sociological researches, They use value-free approach which would be objective and accurate therefore no bias. Crime statistics, Durkheim's study of suicide.
Then argue against it using the relativist approach /interpretive sociology- Jack Douglas critique of Durkheim's study of suicide. It is relative, all due to social construction.
