I don’t know what University to go.
I’ve applied for Construction Management and been to the following applicant open days:

Salford: course seemed good but the building where old and the area was not desirable at all. Accommodation looked like prison cells.

Leeds Mets: Nice building/area but the course didn’t seem good and the accommodation was expensive.

Liverpool John Moores: Corse looked good and accommodation was good and fairly priced.

Nottingham Trent: Heard bad things about the place but the course seemed good and it had nice building while having a good vibe about the place.

    Any advice?

Base your choice on the course, not the accommodation. Remember you'll only be in uni halls for a year... so the surrounding area is more important than uni halls. However, the course is the most important thing.

you should probably look at the rankings to see which of these unis are ranked higher in your course. you should also consider the reputation of the university overall. other than that, choose a city that you like and maybe if you don't like the accommodation halls you can arrange private accommodation, idk. it is important to live in a comfortable place though. if your room looks like a prison cell, you're likely to feel trapped and uncomfortable and this can reflect on your performance at university.

it's a very important decision, so take your time, go to open days, do a lot of research online, contact the university if you have any doubts.

    i hope this helps
    good luck!

Does construction management come under architecture because Trent has a good architecture department.
