he played in the others. Effort? Sorry I didn't spend my day checking through results to try and prove someone's opinion wrong (oh, wait, you can't prove an opinion wrong), unlike some, kevmeister. :L

However, i think you'll find the general consensus among united fans is that evans doesn't have the class to play for united.
That's why he's a contender for player of the season, is it?

You're the one that said 'blah blah, poor defensively in the Newcastle game' wrt Evans and the team, yet he didn't even play.

The very fact you think Jones is better at CB than Evans showcases your ignorance. You decided long ago that Evans wasn't good enough and are just too damn stubborn to change your mind. I pity you.

Since the whole discussion has been about the PL, on a thread about a PL match.

    Try harder.
no it hasn't. + if you're going to be like that then really this discussion is invalid as it has been about evans' form over the entire season, not just this match.

Im talking about this season you absolute fool. Hence the points about his consistency.

You: Evans has only really become consistent since the run in => Talking about PL

    Very simple.

Its cvlear you dont understand both football and Manchester United very well, as multiple people have pointed out, so im done.

one example i got wrong? The other 3 matches he did and those are just the ones i can remember.

And no, usually it's subjective whether one player is better than another. You can't just catergorically state that Evans is better than Jones and anyone who doesn't agree is ignorant. I'm not stubborn at all, my opinion varies on players all the time it's just i've never seen anything from evans which would change my opinion of him.

wrt player of the season, he hasn't won it yet. If at the end of the season united fans vote him player of the season then i'll admit i'm wrong about that. Until then he's just a nominee.

    Several people are wrong

Care to prove to me he isnt?

Given by actual objective factual statistics that he is? So i assume you have fantastic non-measurable analysis of how he isnt good?

I await your obviously genius analysis.

i also haven't spent a considerable chunk of my time creating statistics that are most likely flawed in preparation for circumstances such as this... Oh, thats lucky! You have!

but no, i don't really care to prove you wrong. If it's your opinion that he's a good defender then you are perfectly entitled to it, as am i that he isn't

    Try harder.

As i guessed you dont have any real analysis of your view. Ah well, didnt expect any better, your posts have shown you dont really have a clue.

i don't believe they have, but if it makes you feel better then carry on believing that.

Do you think it makes you sound intelligent/helps your argument when you keep repeating 'try harder'?

Why are Manu giving away the title?

If City win today and against Manu they are ahead on goal difference. And only 2 games to go.

    .........
Why has Jones played more games in midfield than at CB if he is so ****ing fantastic? Because Ferguson is of the opinion that Evans is better now and that Jones is the future.

But hey, what does Ferguson know? **** all.

Man Utd always have the tendency to do really well towards the end of the season, but this year looks a bit 50-50, Man City can definitely look forward to clinching the title if they beat United next week

Obv fergie sees something in him that i/other people don't. You're kind of arguing with yourself now, it's quite funny tbh. I don't think evans is a good enough player for united and i also believe that SMALLING and jones are better. You seem to be picking up on jones and not smalling. I'm not arguing why jones has played more at CM than CB or that fergie knows **** all.
