My red eared terrapins  The only decent picture I could find.

Ever recognised that one of the stones (upper right corner) looks like a seal's head?

Absolutely adorable! I also used to have a leopard gecko (called Ecko :colondollar:) but she passed away :frown:
Still got a tortoise though, and I based my whole extended project on exotic pets.

Ooh that's a good idea, is it using one of those big plastic storage box type things?

Just wondering does it have a filter or an air stone, or do you just do a partial water change quite often?
I have two male panther chameleons, one is m rb ambilobe and is called Buddy and the other is Nosy Be and his name is Neko.

Yeah it is important to take good care of them. I think a lot of people don't realise that these sorts of pets are quite readily available though. They are really awesome, especially the camouflage.

you are right in saying that it is important to take care of them, but quite wrong in thinking that they camouflage to their surroundings. (that is, if you're talking about the chameleons that change colour, i.e Panther chameleons) Their colours change along with their mood, but each sub species has a certain range of colours they can go.

Also, they are only really available through specialist reptile shops, their care is ridiculously time consuming and just a warning, they are addictive haha.

Started off with one, then fell in love with another one, (thinking it was a female, as it's impossible to tell as babies) now we've ended up with two beautiful males and are saving for a third... :/
told you... Geek
I caught a grass snake last summer and kept it as a pet, but it escaped in my house and I havn't seen it since.

Admittedly, I don't own anything exotic, but it looks like you might share my still present childhood interest in 'creepy crawlies'

The pictures are really good, but I have never seen anything like that red invertebrate you posted, it looks like a suede brain with legs, but what is it? :colondollar:
