    A friend of mine studied optometry. My eye was my contribution to her final year project. Not sure what she's doing to it, but it's a pretty(ish) picture.

    Can't be sure, but she's probably taking a picture of it. I used to work for an eye screening programme - I never saw photos like this, but I saw tons of people's retinas. They give you eye drops so your pupils remain dilated when the light is shone, not sure if it looks like you had some? I'd expect your pupils to be smaller with that much light. But I could be wrong.
