Toe non-stop bleeding mysteriously
So two weeks ago I found a 0.5cm cut on the flesh on my big toe and there's dry blood on the wound. Then some days later it bleed again, and I got rid of the blood. And afterwards it bleed occasionally, as if the wound never recovers. Some minutes ago I found it bleeding again and it starts to worry me.
It's been bleeding for quite a while now and the wound doesn't close itself. And I have no idea where I got hurt (perhaps from my shoe?). But it isn't painful, which makes me feel even more worried.
Am I over-reacting? -

Re: Toe non-stop bleeding mysteriouslyno **** sherlock.
The wound is reopening probably because you're moving around alot. My advice is to either take it easy, and dont move as much. OR, you can put on a tight dressing (new one everyday) to stop it opening up while you walk and go about your business. Make sure you wear clean socks and disinfect the cut everytime you change your dressing.
Best of luck

To stop it from reopening during casual movement.

Re: Toe non-stop bleeding mysteriouslyWhy would I be mad? OP made no indication that he/she had seeked medical advice from a professional. Therefore, I felt it necessary to state the obvious logical step of getting it checked out as there had already been previous concern (worry from the OP).(Original post by NabilKhan)

Re: Toe non-stop bleeding mysteriouslyGetting something checked by a medical professional is something ANYONE would do. It's obvious. You don't state the obvious, it makes you sound stupid. Not to mention it's not helpful at all.(Original post by lsaul95)

Re: Toe non-stop bleeding mysteriously
Put a plaster on it maybe?
Seems pretty obvious that movement can prevent healing and as long as you are clotting and it isn't infected you'll be fine.
Stop being a meanie. I don't particularly find threads on cut toes to be particularly life threatening or interesting but you can't accurately give health advice on ze webz anyway. Both advice was good advice.(Original post by NabilKhan)
