    Work or University?
    Hi,

I am currently working at a Waitrose branch in Maidenhead as a Sales Assistant (shop floor). I am on one of the highest pay ratings I can achieve for my position. I am currently debating wether to go to university and study a business course and potentially apply for the Waitrose graduate scheme. My question is, would I be better off staying at my branch and working my way up, or going the University route?

    Thanks.

I think if you want to work in retail management you'd most probably manage to achieve it staying put and grafting. You can always study business via the open university, and you'd be earning at the same time. Good luck whatever you decided anyway.

Waitrose do an A Level management scheme as well as the graduate one, have you thought about that?
