Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Turn ons: bikers (motor or normal!), enigma, pretty much everything under the dictionary definition of 'emo kid', genuineness/decentness, strong jawline, pelvic 'V'
Turn offs: general shallowness or elitism in any way, protein shake muscles, stupid trends like chinos, hooliganism, guys who hound girls in nightclubs -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs? That is perfect boy hair length.(Original post by Anonymous)
You see, I read the girls' turn ons and stuff, and I'm pretty sure every one of them would like my personality..
Yet whenever I ask a girl out, they say no, and never find out that they might like me..
I've seen long hair as a turn off. How long is "long"? My hair is like, longer than almost every guy I meet, but its not like, really long. Touches my collar at the back, my jaw line at the sides and the fringe will come down to the end of my nose. I swear appearances matter waayy more than people let on. -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs? What's wrong with those who hold right wing beliefs?(Original post by redferry)
Turn Ons: kind, left-wing politically, Northern, funny, dark hair, stubble
Turn-offs: Arrogance, selfishness, tory, body hair (especially back hair), being a misogynist, muscles in copious amounts, being boring, religion, prejudice. -

What's wrong with those who hold right wing beliefs?
For me supporting a right wing party is so at odds with who I am as a person that I just couldn't be with someone selfish enough to swing that way politically. -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?Fair enough.(Original post by redferry)
We would argue. A lot.
For me supporting a right wing party is so at odds with who I am as a person that I just couldn't be with someone selfish enough to swing that way politically.
But right wing supporters are not selfish! -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs? The most common argument I hear from right wing people my age for supporting the Tory party is 'well my parents worked hard for their money so why shouldn't they keep it' and 'well I will be in the earning bracket for tax cuts to benefit me when I graduate'. Just no.

Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Turn On
Personality - Geekiness! I love geekiness
I'm such a dork myself that it would be weird for me to go out with a really straight laced hipster... plus, I think geekiness shows a strength in personality and confidence - you're not ashamed of who you are. I find that really sexy.
Appearance - I have a thing for pale, skinny dark haired guys... Cillian Murphy is probably the epitome of sexiness for me.
Turn Off
Personality - Arrogance. This is the one trait that really grates my nerves like some sort of metaphorical cheese grater. It's SO off putting! Seriously, if you love yourself so much, why bother trying to pull someone else?
Appearance - I'm not too fussed on appearance tbh, although I like dark haired guys I'm not against dating blondes or redheads or anything. I suppose the biggest turn off for me would be bad hygiene. There really is no excuse. -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Turn On
Personality I tend to either like people very outwardly confident or very shy/awkward (though you can be those things and still be confident in yourself.) Respectful, open-minded, mature, sarcastic, comfortable in themselves/their beliefs, funny (especially if they have a dry sense of humour), ~intense, enthusiastic (I especially love it when someone gets excited about something and starts rambling about it.)
Appearance - Girls: I love curves, someone like Scarlett Johansson or Jennifer Lawrence has the kind of figure I find most attractive. I love either very pale skin or mixed-race girls. Long hair, soft facial features. And I'm a sucker for girls with full lips and Afro-Caribbean hair. But when it comes to down to it, it's not like any of these are must-haves, girls don't need these things for me to find them attractive. Boys: Hmm, I have a less obvious type with guys I think. I tend to prefer dark hair, a suggestive smile, expressive face, someone well-toned/defined but not TOO muscly.
Turn Off
Personality - Narrow-mindedness, misogyny, any kind of prejudice, immaturity, being judgemental. Oh! Also, people who are passive - I can be quite dominant/assertive and I prefer the dynamic with someone who's the same, if not it just feels unequal, I don't want to be with someone who'll let me boss them around, there needs to be more of a balance.
Appearance - I'm really not sure of anything in specific, apart from anyone on the extreme ends of the weight scale, guys who are too muscular etc. In terms of style, I don't like it when either guys or girls look too unnatural (like the TOWIE cast, for example) - but it's not a deal breaker or anything, I can still fancy people who dress/make themselves up like that, I'd just prefer it if they were more natural.Last edited by weusedtowait; 27-04-2012 at 20:14. -
Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Turn on : Intelligent, chatty, funny ( I like the guys who can make every situation into a joke ) modest and a deep thinker like me, patient and understanding
Looks- I like both ends of the spectrum, so rockey kinda guys, bit of stubble, tattoos, chinos , leather jackets, beanie hats and then i adore a man in a suit, smart, clean shaven, sexy
Turn off- Massive ego, Vainity, a guy who spends longer in the mirror than me, weedy guys just dont do it for me, lazy men, and baggy clothes and guys who think every girl will drop their knickers as soon as they see them -

Quite a true quote though. If you work hard you recieve
If you work smart, you receive.

Re: What are your biggest Turn Ons and Turn Offs?Oh because someone working for minimum wage their whole lives doesn't work hard at all. The amount of effort you put into your job does not correlate with annual earnings I am afraid, and anyone that thinks otherwise is frankly stupid.(Original post by Soph(:)
