How is it happening? Do you do some exercises or something?
I don't really do anything significant.
I just try not to strain my eyes and try and wear my glasses often.
I also try and use a light more often when I work and sleep more than I used to.

I have terrible eyesight. I need my glasses for driving, watching tv, looking at the blackboard etc - but I hate having to wear glasses, so I whip them off as soon as I can, and unless you see me when I'm driving or having to read something far away, you'd never know I wear glasses! Apart from the fact that I don't recognise people until they're about a foot away from me!

-4 in one eye and I can't remember what the other one is but it's not as bad. I've needed glasses since year 8 and I've worn then full time since Sixth Form.

Does anyone else still wear childrens' glasses? I have to; as ladies ones are far too big.
    Me .

I don't like really small lenses either so I only get to choose out of about 5 styles when I have to get new glasses.

    Good luck!

Myself, glasses since I was three; contacts are wonderful things. -11 in both eyes, meaning that no-one is allowed to mess with my glasses.

Thank you. Yeah, contacts are a brilliant invention. I bet you're great at putting them in though!

    Is NeuroVision available in UK?
Hadn't come across this but looked it up on-line... have to be over 18 - I'm still 16.

Supposed to do a bit of patching each evening but I do it longer several times a week (well try to). Easy enough during term - home from school and patch on - but during holidays it tends to get forgotten... Can notice the difference when I haven't done it for a week or so.

Came out with -0.75 in one eye and -1.00 in the other. Told I could wear them all day but I don't think I'm going to. Picking up my glasses next week!

I wear contact lenses mainly, glasses occasionally. I find glasses so irritating, I don't even like wearing sunglasses..

I'm 16 and i've had glasses since last year (but I needed them long before that in my opinion!). I'm not sure about my number things but i'm getting retested soon so i'll post them here then. I do know that I have astigmatism in both eyes (cornea isn't circle shaped enough for proper refraction) and i'm also shortsighted, just light papa! I don't wear my glasses often as I don't like the frames much (all of the free ones are pretty sh*tty) but my prescription is getting renewed soon and i'm going to pick some women's ones as I get money of! Woo, i'll wear them everywhere then!

Dunno if I posted here already but I got contacts a few weeks ago and when I tried to take my dailies out on Monday I didn't notice that the left one had fallen out. I rubbed my eyes sore then I tried to peel , what I later found to be my iris, off, needless to say my eyes are still sore and I don't think I'd be wearing my contacts again anytime soon.
