I just didn't want to take the chance that I would be rejected for the onsite Halls then for it to be too late to find somewhere else. As for the IELTS, personally I would accept the offer now then take the IELTS But it's up to you.

So you have to apply to Buchanan View (=Unite?), too? I thought you sign up and book it right away? If it is an application process as well I can apply for this and GCU halls at the same time...

I think I'll contact the Accommodation Department and ask about my international status and how my chances are ...

Well, when I applied through UNITE, I booked the room, paid the deposit then printed out the tenancy agreement to sign and send back. The only problem with UNITE is that you have to sign and return the tenancy agreement within 14 days or they will give your room to someone else.

But yeah, I would give the accommodation department a ring and see what they say

It's good to have options. I looked at the Social Sciences degree but I'm not all that keen on economics and politics bores me to tears D: And after doing Higher Sociology, I never want to look at a copy of Haralambos ever again.
