Re: What's the best Anime ever made???My personal favourites are definitely D.Gray Man, Code Geass and Clannad. In addition to that are some of the main stream/popular animes.
I have some other good anime which are also worth mentioning but the list would go on forever. From the new animes this season the once that I found most interesting are Accel World and Sword Art Online

Re: What's the best Anime ever made???Brotherhood was the series that stuck to the plot of the manga. It's brilliant, one of those ones where you go "just one more episode" until it starts getting light outside.(Original post by Kallisto)
Did you mean the cinema film? what about the series? not good?
The timing was also amazing; the manga finished in June 2010, the anime in July of the same year. They must've been pushed with time for those last few episodes, but they did them really well. -

Death Note, Hellsing, Elfen Lied and Fullmetal Alchemist.
As far as I know there are nine mangas to Hellsing. If you want to watch Hellsing, I would recommend you the Ultimate OVA. Its more based on Manga - and has a better atmosphere.(Original post by darkxangel)

Re: What's the best Anime ever made???Yu Gi Oh because of the card game it produced. I was the right age for Pokemon when it became big in the UK, and while that produced a card game as well it was nowhere near as strategic or entertaining as Yu Gi Oh.
But in all honesty I didn't really like the Yu-Gi-Oh TV show. Too many dramatic speeches and I couldn't really fathom how the result of a card game would change anything, but the duels were entertaining atleast. -

Re: What's the best Anime ever made???Nope the last episode I seen was at the end of Series 2. It was kinda annoying that they didn't finish the tournament in that series but I guess there was alot of duels to get through.(Original post by A.J10)

And yeah there was often inconsistencies between the cards and their effects in the show and the IRL cards. Also duel someone flips a magic card in their opponent's turn, which you can't do IRL.
On a side note: the IRL card game is extremely messed up now. I went back to it for a couple of weeks and it just was not fun, lol.
