Anyone applied for the 2012 Access To Higher Education (Fashion) Course at LCF?
I have applied in February and have not heard back yet , I have spoken to the office and they said I should've heard last Friday or this week as they are interviewing this week apparently. I just wanted to see if anyone else who has applied has heard anything?

Congratulations!! When did you have your interview? I'm really worried as I have not heard anything. I applied last year an was invited to interview, but couldn't make it as I had a bereavement so re applied this year, I am hoping they are still in the process of interviews an so on......

    Hey guys,
My interview was almost two weeks ago.
I got offered a place with the International Preparation for Fashion certificate program.
Which was funny because I didn't apply for it, they basically just gave it to me despite me applying for a foundation and BA degree just because I am an international student.

I don't know if I will accept the offer I don't understand the certificate (how or if it will help me).
My English is perfect; I'm American.

    Confused, CJ:confused:

    You need to Call them!
There could be (and from the sounds of it probably is) something wrong, LCF is a big school they get disorganized.
You're not international? I thought the certificate programs were international only? so confused!

    Good luck anyway!
    hope you get in

My interview was about a month ago, but i applied back in Feb. I guess sometimes they can be rather slow, so it would be best if you'd give them a call.

No no noo it was so chill, no drawing and hardly any questions.
First he looked at my portfolio, then asked where I saw myself in 10 years.
Honestly that was it, and then he told me what he thought of my portfolio.
The interviewer guy did most of the talking. I hardly had to speak at all.
Don't worry, seriously, it's the most laid back interview ever.

By the way, I'm currently on this course (Access Fashion) and it is quite a good course as they teach you the basics of what you need to know for the fashion industry and the tutors encourage you to go into whatever path you choose. At first I thought I was a womenswear designer (as everyone else on the course) but you find out what you really want to do after being on this course.

Good luck to all of you next year! xx

What day is your interview? My course was access to fashion business. all i can say is relax!, chill, be yourself, do not over think the question, show them that you know a bit about the current affairs like the news,. If you have to do a test make sure you brush up on ratios, percentages, fractions & averages. It will be fine.
I got in by the way. they wrote to me a day after my interview offering me an unconditional offer. although the later arrived like 5 days later. I was one of the people who panicked in my interview and got in so i'm sure you can
