Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!
Yeah a girl who lives in my halls always does this with heels but her socks are usually quite a lot longer... I don't know it looks kind of nice but in a "runway" way, not in a "I'd wear that" way. I bet it makes walking in heels soooo much easier though!

Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!
yes exactly like that, but with all kinds of high shoes.. like glads/boots/anything! im not sure what to make of it, i kind of hate it! but also sort of like it? its like wearing hotpants with a hoody - defeats the idea, get me? like if its so hot your having to wear short shorts but then you go and team it with a fluffy warm hoody? (im guilty of this though i do like to wear hotpants with full sleeved jumpers, dont know why!) so in the same way its like if your going to destroy your feet by wearing 5 inch heels all night and baring all your legs, whats the point of keeping your feet warm and comfy? lol

Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!
I wore socks and heels once for a school disco type thing for uni (I was a St Trinian
) and it was soooo comfy. I wore the same heels on another night out and they killed my feet after a couple of hours.
Never wore socks and heels again cos it does look a bit odd, I usually stick to flats. I'd like it if it was a trend that would catch on.
Oh I should mention that they weren't fluffy socks, just longish grey ones. Fluffy socks, as in bedtime socks, would be odd.Last edited by Little Hobbit; 25-04-2012 at 01:37. -
Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!Erm wearing socks with heels isn't really comparable to wearing a hoodie with shorts. A hoodie with shorts is weird because if it's hot enough to wear shorts, why wear a hoodie? But you don't wear heels because it's warm, so adding socks makes no difference in that respect.(Original post by tpxvs)

Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!ah i didnt mean about the warmness when it comes to heels.. more that its so uncomfortable(compared to flats) wearing say 6inch heels, adding socks defeats the point? hardly going to become super comfy is it!(Original post by sarahthegemini)

Re: whats with the fluffy socks and high heels look?!...perhaps the socks are worn because they look nice? As opposed to because they might make the shoes comfier? And even if they are worn to provide some comfort, it hardly defeats the purpose, you don't wear heels specifically to be uncomfortable.(Original post by tpxvs)

Plus, no cold toes
then complain about how my feet hurt then think actually... maybe they're onto something...
