AQA AS German Writting and Oral Exams
    Hi
Is anyone currently doing AS AQA German at college?
I'm just wondering, what are the best ways to revise or practise for the Oral exam. My nominated topic is Fernsehen.
I'd also like to know any techniques and tips for the written exam. Especially the essay question!

    Danke!

    Hello
I'm doing WJEC, so ignore me if none of this is relevant, but I've found the best way to revise is to make a list of all the topics that could come up (which is actually quite a lot when you start thinking about it) then learn relevant vocab and practice talking about each topic.
In WJEC, as well as a general conversation, we have to answer questions about a couple of cards with pictures or conversations on them - so practicing past papers of them would be useful too (if you have to do that with AQA).

We almost definitely will not get an essay on festivals, because that came up (along with two others) in january. Marriage, cinema and holidays came up last summer. Heres hoping that the questions will be nicer this time around.

did publicity also come up in jan? no one at my school did the jan paper, so the school don't have a copy. i reckon - phones, tourism and maybe healthy eating or drugs or something from health.
we have not ever had a question on drugs specifically and tourism was jan 09 and phones jan 09.

I saw the cinema one and went, O_o, I don't get what they're asking. Saw the holidays one and went, I've nowt to say for that, ended up doing marriage, and probably answering the essay I wanted, not what was there...

I'm hoping for media to come up. That would make me happy. Other than that, I'm hoping for something nice/ one of those Q's where they give you a few ideas. If that doesn't happen, make the reading and grammar really easy!

I'm hoping for a nice one this year... in Spanish they had if sport was to watch or to do O.o Oh my giddy aunt, if that came up I would just die. Health and fitness would be brilliant; perhaps a nice agony aunt letter thats not too hard?

So do we all think that Health/Smoking/Drugs/Alcohol and Media - the internet/mobiles etc. will possibly be the essay questions?

    Many thanks

Re: AQA AS German Writting and Oral Exams
I'm resitting the German AQA AS module tomorrow and I'm praying for a nice essay question as if I can get over 130 UMS there is a small chance of me getting an A* overall!

I'm in my second year and I only paid to resit for this reason

The January paper was quite easy (I got 106/110 when I practiced it) so I'm hoping that doesn't mean the Summer paper will be difficult

    Good luck everyone!
    Viel Glück

The reading/listening was pretty hard in comparison to other June papers.
