If anyone happens to be online right now, there's a live revision session run by the Further maths Network on between 6pm and 8pm tonight.

I don't know how quickly they'll upload the recording, but when they do, it will be on http://www.furthermaths.org.uk/onlinerevision.php

It was okay. But I tend to find these things not that useful (if you've done your own revision fairly well )

I learnt them all except chapter 3.

I'm definitely answering the multivariable calculus, and then I'll see about vectors, markov chains and groups.

    How's everyone feeling?

I'm feeling quite confident. I also learnt all but chapter 3; I find I'm more confident with groups and markov chains so I'm gonna answer those questions first, then I'll have plenty of time for vetors/multivariable calculus (that's the plan at least)

I hope they don't decide to do something horrible for groups - those questions can be nice too!

Surprised nobody's doing Differential Geometry, it's by far the easiest of the five topics - I'll be doing Q1-3, seems to have been the best combination on past papers.
    How's everybody feeling for it?
(Also: does anyone have any idea how many people actually sit this exam? I've heard the numbers for M4 & S4 are below 50...)

    Is that it?
I've no idea, wouldn't know where to look to find out, either!

We just didn't get taught it sadly, and didn't have to time to do it myself.

I just wanna get it done and over with now!

Why did they have to put this on the same day as core 4 ISO all day for me

I am! Not sure if I agree with you there, but it's certainly not bad. Perhaps nobody does it because (according to my teacher) it's a "mathematical dead end"

I very much like the differential geometry chapter, will definitely be doing it! Then probably vectors and groups, although the multivariable calculus may get a look in if the groups question looks horrible.... Only 4 more modules to go, then I'll have done a nice round 20

To quote Dr S.Nahl, "Why stop there? You might as well do the next one! Life's too short!"

Seriously, why stop at 20? Out of interest, what optional modules are you doing? Outside of Pure, Further Pure, Mechanics and Statistics (which I assume accounts for 15).

Stopping at 20 for 2 reasons - one, I've physically run out of time, haven't even finished learning for 3 of them yet, and I've got Physics and Chemistry to worry about too; two, DC (the only one I'm not doing) is at the same time as NC which would give me 5 hours of computer modules on a monday morning. To quote Dr S.Nahl, "Life's too short!"

You can probably work out then I've done the 15 pure/mech/stats along with D1, D2, NM, NC, DE

Reason 3 - I hate decision maths enough as it is without inflicting more on myself
