Flipping is good until you place a buy offer for the price you're meant to be selling at.
Luckily i've avoided doing that :P
Made about 10m today which isn't bad for just getting back into it after a long time

It's a shame because i remember spending so many hours on this game when i was younger, then they made some terrible mistakes and all the players left and the bots took over and it all became pretty much dead.

Not trying to hate on the game or anything, i hope they do eventually get back on track!!

No matter what you do, don't stake...easy and fast money is very bad. I turned a billionair in one day in duel arena, multi billionair in one week then cleaned in one day! -9bil

    Yay a runescape thread!!

What're people's thoughts on The Crucible? I'm not impressed so far.. logged on for a go with my combat 84, and get matched against a combat 104 in far superior armour...

Was a fairly even match, but I ended up eating more and decided to run out and take the 35k hit rather than lose my dragon and all the rest of the gold. If I could choose to wait an extra 40 seconds and get matched with someone of an identical level to me.. I'd like it a lot more. Oh, and having summoning in there is so dumb

Not even going to bother trying, i've heard too many bad things about it, one of the major ones being what you said about the unfairness in matches

Haven't played for a while but just seen Sparc Mac's vid of this update looks good.

Do you lose your items if you die?

Edit: of course you do, sorry stupid question.

Not gonna bother giving it a go. My character is useless at anything to do with PVP. I'm mid 70's in all my combat skills (minus summoning) so I know if I go in there, a pure would easily pop up and kill me.

Right so the biggest coming up is evolution of combat. What do you think. I like lots of the ideas for the new mechanics but am really worried that they are going to nerf previously good weapons like ags won't have its normal spec and same with d claws etc.

However, the new cb level will not penalise me for having a prayer pure with 43 pray and a little magic, don't need much more than 10 initially. I will still appear to be about level 10 or less so hope this could work really in my favour.

Is the abby whip still a top weapon?

Back on track by introducing micro transactions which allow players to buy experience and items

Yea, they aren't making any terrible mistakes these days. You should come back :p:

It's not the best no godswords are a bit better and so are some dungeoneering weapons but it's all about to change apparently there are some things called whip vines, which might become very good as they have the highest requirement.

Mmm same, I think they're doing some cool stuff, unfortunately RS already takes up half of my RAM when it runs, so it's edging on maxing out and then I get framerate lag etc - so I'm a bit apprehensive about what this update will do..

But can't wait for an action-bar, it's going to make melee & combat utility spells so good in PvP/Pking (whatever you call it!)

So how does a prayer pure work? Dyou just get 'protect from..' really early and become almost invincible?

Your adolescence lasted one year?
You're asleep for 1/3 of every day, so playing 120 days is like wasting a full actual year.

No it's not, 120 days is about 1/3 of a year, not 2/3

So say you sleep for 1/3 of a day, that leaves technically leaves you with ~240 hours of 'wake time' - so it'd be half a year

Why is everyone who plays runescape so bad at maths!
