Does anyone else find 'Horrible Histories' helpful for revision?

    i just watch them/ read them for the fun of it, i stopped history when i got to GCSE i kind of wish id kept it on though

    For dates I suppose they're all right, but using them as help for GCSE or anything more academically challenging than that is madness...they're notorious for their factual inaccuracies.

    Yeah, History is awesome. But it requires a LOT of writing skill

    God no. I looooved the books as a child, in fact they're pretty much what got me into History but the TV series is the most overrated thing that's been on TV in recent years.

    I did the reign of Elizabeth I, so there is a lot of HH stuff based around her!

    Awesome LOL, i was doing Anglo-Saxon vs. Vikings - so it really helped me too

    I remember the books. The one on the First World War was brilliant - I'm pretty sure it helped foster my love for history.
