Spare room available for next year!Hi, there's a spare room in the house I'm going to be living in next year if anyone is interested. Let me know.
The Room: Single Bedded room in a six person house.
The House: Six bedrooms, one stand alone toilet, one stand alone bathroom, and one toilet/shower room. Large Kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, and washing machine. Large living room, also containing a dining table, with patio doors leading out to a big garden, with a greenhouse, and lots of space for sitting out in the summer. One garage, with a drive that can fit three small sized cars- if you organise who needs to leave when etc- and a parking permit for the road.
The Area: The house is situated a short walk from Highfield campus- about 10/15 minutes-, and is round near the Glen Eyre Halls. It's more of a residential area so should be nice and quiet, and safe, and because of there not being a lot of student houses around the rent is cheap for the space you get.
The people: Living with you will be two boys and three girls. We'll all be going into our second year, but we all took at least one gap year so will be aged from 20-21 (I think). We have a lawyer (me), chemist, criminologist, computery person, and a historian (possibly archeology though...I'm not 100% sure).
The rent: The rooms are £75 p/w not including bills.

Ill be starting my phd in october. I did my undergrad at soton and enjoyed living in the portswood area. Any more info you have would be great cheers...Last edited by kingmonkeywoman; 01-05-2012 at 14:59.
