Re: The Arsenal Thread XIIWalcott is miles behind the likes of RVP nasri and fabregas..(Original post by Hantheman)
Walcott to Liverpool evens on skybet. Hmmm. Wouldn't want to lose him. Furthermore, the thought of losing both RvP and Walcott would be, well a bit like losing Nasri and Cesc in one season. -

Re: The Arsenal Thread XIIWell, he is a Liverpool fan, but honestly, I don't see it happening. I still don't see them getting into the top four next season and luckily one thing we do have over them is european football.(Original post by Hantheman)

But there is always that one transfer that shocks everyone, I just hope it doesn't involve any of our good players

Re: The Arsenal Thread XIIThat's the mistake everyone makes. He will never be easy to replace. He forces managers to change their tactics drastically when playing us. The likes of Guardiola admitted so. They fear the damage he can do. That's why largely, he becomes ineffective in a game. He is forced out of it by assigning two players to disrupt his runs. That obviously frees up space for Van Persie/Sagna and hence damages the opposition. He is actually quite vital for the team's overall harmony imo.(Original post by Abbadon27)
Meh, I wouldn't be that concerned if Theo left. I would prefer him to stay but he would be fairly easy to replace.Last edited by Abiraleft; 16-07-2012 at 04:22. -

Re: The Arsenal Thread XIII thought Afellay was close to a move somewhere else? Don't see us needing Mbiwa with Konks Verm Mert Djourou and Miquel though. Hope you're right. Not likely though(Original post by Ora Thames)

Re: The Arsenal Thread XIICue wenger taking months to sign the player, then putting in an audacious bid on the final day, he tried to buy schweinsteigger last season.(Original post by TheInvincibles14)
As Darth said in an earlier post Malaga have put both Cazorla & Isco on the transfer list to clear up some debt. Both of them are tremendous players. Hopefully we can sign Cazorla after missing out on him last summer, it would be an immense signing. -
Re: The Arsenal Thread XIINo he didn't, schweinsteigger is a world class midfielder and it would've taken huge amounts of money to buy him.(Original post by jam277)
