I really think Songs place comes under threat if M'vila does sign. Our form without Arteta has shown just how key he is to our passing and pressing game. Hopefully it means Wenger will be willing to rotate more as thats always been a problem of ours.

Is there any other transfers apart from M'Villa and Vertoghen that are rumored/Arsenal is interested in?
Belhanda, Munian, Hazard, Matias Suarez, Giroud, Susaeta. Personally think we will be in for another winger and a striker. Especially if Walcott and RVP continue to stall.

How many minutes spent swaggering around the place with an undeserved arrogance not doing your job properly per game does he have compared to songs 85 ?
    Someone's not a Song fan.

Where would the M'Villa signing leave Coq? He is going to find it very hard to try get a starting position with Song, M'Villa and Arteta playing in the 2 more defensive CM positions. I think he is ready for the first team, so a loan isn't really a viable option.

Unless Wenger is going to try and convert him to a RB, in that case he could be understudy to Sagna.

Judging by his name I wouldn't be so sure

Frimpong never suited Arsenal's style, so I don't think he will be here that long with us now.

Don't forget this is Arsenal, someone will get injured. Le Coq will have plenty of game time, providing he doesn't get injured.

Yeah strange considering my name but at the moment I have had it with him, he was dire against QPR and then Saturday he was truly woeful and his whole demeanor is just wrong, he goes around like he is gods gift when he is just about above average on his best days, the way he was swaggering about in the lap of shame after the game didnt really do him any favours either. I wouldnt really be bothered to never see him in an arsenal shirt again the way he is playing at the moment he is a liability

Surely if we do sign M'Vila then would we breaking our transfer record. The minimum we'd have to pay is £20m and that's pretty suprising that we're able to pay £20m for a DM yet can't fork out £20m for Mata who would have been the perfect replacement for Cesc/Nasri rolled into one.

    Thanks for the reply.

Checked those guys out, seems most of them are also wanted by PL and other big european teams, interesting.

Baring in mind we bid 16m for Phil Jones in the summer its not that much of a suprise but I do agree about Mata i get a bit more annoyed every time I see him playing for the chavs

Imagine Mata and van Persie

That would be like the relationship between Pires-Henry all over again...

No we didn't. Wenger would never have bidded £16 mill on a 19 year old defender.

What's going to happen against WBA?

Surely it would make sense playing Jenks at RB and Coquelin alongside Song. Wenger clearly has a lot of faith in Ramsey so I doubt that will happen though. I would keep Gervinho aswell, was really impressed with him against Norwich. I imagine if Theo is fit he would come back in but he's only got a small chance. Benayoun didn't do anything apart from his goal but his work-rate could get him a start again, particularly because Gibbs is still a bit suspect defensively.

What's everyone's opinion on Benayoun? Should we keep him? I think he would be a valuable addition as a squad player and definetly has a brilliant attitude. A two year deal would be good, although Chelsea might want him back.

Firstly, we couldn't compete with Chelsea's wages. Secondly, we were still trying to qualify for the CL whilst both Chelsea and Valencia had safe passage to it. Finally, Wenger was ready to bid something in the region of £24 million for him, so splashing out for M'Vila isn't a massive surprise.

    Fabregas and this RVP :dice:.

When RVP started his form last season Fabregas was injured, we never really got to see inform RVP and Fabregas play together.

I really hope M'Vila means the end of Frimpong at Arsenal. He's an utter moron and as a result probably won't reach his potential.

Bendtner just tweeted his future will be decided after the Euros.

Apparently Yann will cost £18 mill.
