Onto the actual game. Bayern are playing at home. Bayern are definitely amongst the top 5 teams in the world. Bayern have some of the best players in the world. And yet, I feel like Chelsea will snatch a win.

Either way, it will be a bitter-sweet moment for any Arsenal fan (for obvious reasons).

Bayern are hugely blessed attack wise, but aren't a particularly balanced side which allows them to be undone as happened in the German Cup final. They'll have makeshift centre backs and Kroos will have to play deeper which is good for us.

If we do win, it means Spurs get kicked out of Europe. Can't get much sweeter than that

I'm a Brit living in Munich. Just really looking forward to the match, whatever the outcome. The city's got a real buzz and sense of excitement at the moment (30,000 Chelsea fans are coming, most of them already here and thousands of Bayern fans in the city already or coming from around Germany). Although since my boyfriend is Munich born-and-bred, I kind of hope Bayern win so that he's not like a grumpy bear with a sore head for 2 days. But I don't know if any of you have followed Bayern's performance in the German league (Bundesliga) and their equivalent of the FA Cup (DFB-Pokal). It's been really shockingly bad, so I think Chelsea stands a chance.

It all points to a Bayern win.

First, Bayern have more penetration than Barcelona coming from the wings, so if Chelsea end up with 8-2-0 formation after scoring, it might not work as effectively as Barca who just decided to pass it sideways for 45 minutes.

Second, Chelsea do not have Ramires (their player of the season - yes, he has been better than Mata). They have no person in midfield capable of going on 100 yard runs to relieve the pressure or even score a goal deep from midfield.

Third, Robben... Ribery... Gomez.

Fourth, the odds will be against Chelsea if it goes to penalties. German team vs English team, rofl.

Having said that, Chelsea do have Drogba, who is a freaking force of nature when he's on his game. And we all know it pointed to a Barca win last time.

I don't particularly care who wins, I'm just hoping for an exciting game. The most boring thing would be for Chelsea to come out ultra defensive and soak up the pressure.

Predicting a 2-1 Bayern win. Gomez and someone else will score. Drogba won't score.

I think it will be more balanced and interesting game than chelsea v barca.

So, if Bayern score first... 4-1? 5-1?

EDIT: I'm actually going to predict a 2-0, but I don't know which way. For one, it depends on which route Chelsea decide to take. For another, first goal, like Zerofax says.

Don't see why not - if Ribery and Robben are given the space to run into and looking at a not full strength/fully fit back line for Chelsea?

Bosingwa at RB? Cahill/Luiz will probably hobble off at some point..

Bayern - Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Tymoschuk, Contento; Schweinsteiger, Kroos; Robben, Muller, Ribery; Gomez. (4231).

Chelsea - Cech; Boswinga, Luiz, Cahill, Cole; Essien, Mikel, Lampard; Mata, Drogba, Kalou. (433).

Going Bayern 3-1.

I'd be surprised if it actually ended 2-0, considering both teams are weakend particularly in the defence. I'm almost certain both teams will score and I guess it's more likely going to be a 2-1 or 3-1 probably for Bayern. Can't really see any of the two teams remaining a clean sheet.

Will it be possible to watch it on ITV online because I remember some channels who are free to watch online don't show football matches (I'd assume due to some rights issues etc...) !?

I'm not entirely sure who i want to win this :/ Chelsea because i'm english but Bayern have the major advantage of playing at their home ground and in my opinion are the better team!

I'm gonna have to say 3-2 Bayern .. Chelsea will naturally bring the game back somehow
