LSE Accomodation + Social Life
I have received offers from both UCL and LSE and haven't decided which one I'll be firming, but I am a little concerned about accomodation and social life at LSE. I've been told that LSE students are obssessed by their studies and that social life isn't great there. I know there are a lot of stereotypes going on about LSE but I was wondering to what extend they are true. I'm also thinking about asking for intercollegiate halls if I firm LSE, but I don't know if it's really worth it. Are people more friendly? Are the rooms good? I've noticed they're generally close to the uni, which is a good point too but I don't really know what to do! I'm a friendly and outgoing person (or so I like to think) and love to go out. I'm afraid that I'll feel kind of trapped in LSE as I'm not really into competition and I am wondering if UCL would be a better choice for me . I hope some LSE student can help! Thanks!

PS: I'm going to study anthropology if that changes anything. -

There will be more than enough social opportunities at LSE (and UCL). As the poster above me says, your uni experience will be what you make of it. Finding a few like-minded people will not be difficult when you are surrounded by thousands of students, with clubs / societies, classes and accommodation as social environments.
