    My Digital Life (TU100)
    Hi all,

I'm currently studying for an English Language & Lit undergraduate degree, and for my free choice module I'm interested in broadening my horizons and taking this module (My Digital Life).

I'm interested in digital media and basic programming (especially how it overlaps with linguistics), I've played around in Python and Java a TINY bit although I wouldn't say I really know what I'm doing, but I was wondering how advanced this course is when it comes to the maths side of things? I don't have maths or computing A-levels although I'm basically numerate and am confident enough as a home PC user

Would this module be too advanced for me? I wouldn't be starting until October 2013 so I guess I could brush up on things over next summer

    Thanks

You should be fine with it. It's aimed at people with no real IT knowledge aside from basic computing skills. You already have more than that!

It's a great module and my favourite so far. I wouldn't say it's too advanced. It's enjoyable and interesting.
