Will I Still get the Course If......Ok, I'm currently in year 11 and I'm seriously doubting that i can get enough GCSE'S
to get on the course that I Applied for (Btec Extended Diploma In Music Technology Level 3 if you're wondering). I've had an Interview and they accepted me on the course if i get the required grades. If i don't get the grades what will happen? Will i get moved onto the Level 2 course? Or will they just completely forget about me. -

Re: Will I Still get the Course If......When you take your results in to the college, they'll either offer you a place on a level 2 (providing they have spaces available), or offer you an alternative course if one is available. If not, they'll advise you to re sit your GCSE's in your "spare" year, and then re-apply for the Level 3 course.

I suppose it depends on how much you missed out on the grades by. If you're just slightly off then they may allow you on the course and depending on what else they offer, they may help you resit one or two. Some of my friends resat their English GCSE at my college and we're specifically an art college so it all depends. May be worth emailing them to see what could happen.
