disney/cartoon/childhood films anyone?

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Alice in Wonderland - looking back now it's pretty psychedelic.

That and Kids Next Door was fun.

National Velvet! I wish more people knew about it, it was my favourite childhood film and Liz Taylor and Mickey Rooney are awesome in it!
But yes, all the Disney animated classics too, especially from the Disney Renaissance time. That, and The Parent Trap (Lohan version!)

    Personal faves:

    Toy Story 1,2 and 3
Mulan (made me fall in love with Chinese girls/culture)
    Aladdin
    The Lion King
The Aristocats (I love cats meow meow meow)
Lady and the Tramp (the scenes with Lady as a puppy are so cute I wish I had a dog and a cat too. Don't forget the spaghetti scene)
    Pinocchio
    Monsters Inc
The Emperor's New Groove (quite underrated but surprisingly funny)
    Hercules (another underrated Disney flick)
........grudgingly......oh ok go on then......Beauty and the Beast ;p (ok it's a bit soppy but nevertheless one of the best Disney pics of all time).

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (not really a huge favourite but it's worth watching just to see 'where it all started' for Disney)

Ooooh how can I forget......The Jungle Book!!!!!

    101 Dalmatians

The Hunchback of Notre Dame wasn't too bad although a little creepy in parts. I get shivers down my spine whenever I visit Notre Dame now.

And here's an oddball you might want to investigate 'A Goofy Movie'.

    Oh and 'Recesschools Out'.

Gosh I miss the days of Disney movies.

Oh man. Disney was life when I was younger and so was some anime that went popular in the 90s.

    Here goes my list:

    1. Lion King 1 (Watched this thousands of times! I was still small then so I had to coaxed the adults to put it on laser disc for me--they were humongous!)
    2. Sleeping Beauty (I know you, I know you from once upon a dream~~)
    3. Beauty & the Beast
    4. Tarzan! (You'll be in my heart~~)
    5. Hercules (My theme song back then was "Go the Distance". It was the most watched video for me at the time...>.>)
    6. Anastasia (I was born in December, so I loved the "Once Upon a December" song!)

6.5 Sailormoon!!! (I loved this so much!)

    7. Pokemon! (Gotta catch'em all!)

    8. Digimon!
