i just received and firmed my conditional offer at beds for adult nursing march 2013 intake!

I've just accepted too for March 2013 Adult Nursing Very excited just a bit gutted about the long wait as I did apply for September intake. Have you started applying for accommodation etc.?

im starting in march doing nursing i have been offered a room at Fitzroy & Wenlock Courts, but im a little confused because since we dont start till march it says they are offering mt the room from 22 september till july 2013, but will i have to pay even though im not there till march , and will we be still there past july??

I haven't been offered anything at all! I phoned the student village and they told me to phone two weeks before I needed a room and I would get one guaranteed Do you reckon there is also the possibility we could we based on hospital accommodation? I'm going up in October to attend the open day as when I was looking round my choices, I only saw their Aylesbury campus so i'll ask all the questions they haven't been very good at answering so far via phone and email! Are you looking forward to it?

I rang them and try have cancelled my accommodation and they have told me to ring in January about accommodation, I am looking forward to it I'm a but nervous at the same time as I'm moving away from home to somewhere I have never been before , are you looking forward to it ?

They don't seem very organised do they :/ I'm very nervous about it! Like you i'll be moving away from home and don't know much about Luton or what to expect from it

They don't seem to be organised I would prefur just to get all the info from them in the post, instead of just nothing , i havent been to luton before because my interview was at alesbury ,where you moving from

Yeahh I know what you mean it's pretty frustrating I'll be moving from Salisbury, Wiltshire. It's about a 2 hour drive from Luton. What about yourself?

May be odd joining after a few weeks, but I'm just happy that I'm not the only one on the nursing course starting in March 2013! Though atm I seem to be the only one studying in Aylesbury
If you guys are still interested, I had a call from the uni saying that the accommodation application will be sent out to us in November...if that helps

Brilliant that's helpful to know Congrats on getting your place, I wanted to go to Aylesbury over Luton -it's a nice quiet campus and only nursing/midwifery students there

Hi there,
I've applied and had my interview for the March '13 intakes. I will know if I have a place in a couple of weeks. As for accommodation I asked them at my interview and they said that for nursing most lectures are based in Aylesbury campus so as soon as I am told if I have a place they will contact me. I spoke to a friend who is studying the same course there and she recommended Aylesbury over Luton as you get a lot more support. The uni also told me that I might be living in hospital accommodation such as High Wycombe, but I don't know all the details yet! Hope that helps a little :/

I am starting in March 2013 I am going to be based in Aylesbury, do you know where you are based?

I got accepted unconditionally last night at Beds Uni with the Aylesbury campus!

I've decided not to study at Beds. But I did email the accomadation department and they said they didn't know about the nursing intake and recommended talking to your tutor. I hope that helps x

After ringing 3 different numbers yesterday because I was also worried about not hearing anything, I was told that we all have 1st class packages coming wednesday/thursday which contains everything we need for applying for our accommodation and it also has information about bursaries! There is a separate section for us to do as we are based in Aylesbury. they call us the 'bucks side’ hopefully we all get the information soon

I applied for September intake 2013 but luton university had spaces for Narch in take so I have accepted the offer, I got a pre induction on the 22nd if this month, anyone else going Luton campus?
